I am not a doctor, only a nurse and a mother of a 19 year old son with mild Aspergers and ADD (not hyperactive). My son had been on Ritalin since he was 12 – I noticed that he was using a lot of Liquid Paper and our doctor agreed with me that he needed a stimulant. He was also on Zoloft to help with his anger scale and midwinter depression. He recently took himself off both medications as he felt he no longer needed them. He has been doing very well. He has recently joined a gym and started a part-time job. As well as his tertiary studies and time with his friends and family, his life is very full and meaningful.

If I were you I would aim to get off everything except for an antidepressant at this stage. I believe you can do it.
